Embodiment Counselling
Connect with Self
Embodiment Counselling aims to meet you where you're at. If you’re struggling with body image, disordered eating, depression, trauma or thoughts of suicide, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to face it alone. I’m here to help you explore those experiences without judgment, at your own pace. If you’ve ever felt ashamed of those thoughts or afraid to speak them out loud, I want you to know—this is a safe space to talk about the hard stuff.
Embodiment counselling offers a safe space for you to explore your inner world, heal from within, and grow towards peace.

OUR HEALING APPROACH
Meet Our Therapist
Hello! My name is Bryanne, and I reside in Calgary Alberta. I love being close to the mountains and spend most of my free time with my dog Lucy. I am a Registered Social Worker in Alberta, Ontario, British Columbia and Saskachewan. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) Clinical Social Work Practice degree from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Victoria. I have worked in the field of social work since 2017 gaining extensive experience across various settings, including mental health, public healthcare, shelters, domestic violence, 2SLGBTQ+ support services and crisis support.
My primary goal is to ensure the people I work with leave therapy feeling genuinely seen and heard. Through my work in healthcare and community settings, I have developed a keen understanding of the barriers to accessing resources and the impact of oppression on service availability. I adopt a "not-knowing" stance regarding experiences of inequality and aim to create a safe space for folks to share their unique stories.
I have a special interest in helping people heal their relationship with their body and food. I work from a body liberation lens, grounded in the belief that all bodies are good bodies—deserving of respect, care, and dignity. I’m committed to creating a space where you can begin to feel more at home in yourself.
My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative and person-centered. I use evidence-based methods—like Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR—but most importantly, I listen. I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you reconnect with your Self. Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or cold. It can be a space where you’re seen, heard, and supported—just as you are.
